Bob The Tomato

Voice Performed By: Phil Vischer ~
Bob is the show's co-host and straightman (er, tomato). He is a down-to-earth vegetable and a storyteller, but also stars in many of the performances. Bob is a good friend to Larry the Cucumber, often trying to keep him out of trouble and boosting his self-esteem.

Larry The Cucumber

First Appearance: "Where's God When I'm S-Scared?" (Episode 1)
Voice Performed By: Mike Nawrocki ~
Larry co-hosts the show, and somewhat has the personality of a 'goofy sidekick.' He is the star of many cartoons, though he has also been known to act as the storyteller. Larry's secret alter-ego is "Larry-Boy," a plunger-headed hero who keeps the town of Bumblyburg safe. Larry also regularly performs in "Silly Songs With Larry," singing such songs as "The Hairbrush Song," "The Dance of the Cucumber" and "Love My Lips."

Madame Blueberry

Once a sad little berry, Madame learned that a happy heart is a thankful heart in her VeggieTales debut. Instead of being focused on stuff, she's happy with the things she does have. She is a new character, and has appeared in only one episode so far!

Baby Lou

Baby Lou could very well be the cutest vegetable in the VeggieTales cast! The little brother of Laura and Lenny Carrot, Baby Lou can be seen waddling around Dinkletown in his only video appearance so far.

Jr. Asparagus
Type of Vegetable: AsparagusFirst Appearance: "Tales From the Crisper" (Episode 1: "Where's God When I'm S-Scared?")

Junior is the classic five-year-old kid, but is far from ordinary. He is often the hero of the story, playing such roles as the Good Samaritan (Tale of Two Cities) and David (Dave and the Giant Pickle). Junior always wears some sort of hat, with two exceptions to date: when his hat fell off in "The Grapes of Wrath" (Episode 2), and when he took it off to use his sling in "Dave and the Giant Pickle" (Episode 5). He seems to have a great relationship with his Mom and Dad, who appear periodically.

Harry

First Appearance: "The Toy That Saved Christmas"

Harry is the clever penguin who has so far hung around with Mr. Nezzer and Mr. Lunt. Rumor has it that he may have been modeled after the penguins in the British claymation series "Wallace and Gromit" ("The Wrong Trousers"). Harry did not receive his name until he appeared in the "Veggiecational" children's book series.
